Beautiful, high quality, Impressionist landscape in oil on canvas board. 12"X19" signed and dated 1916 by Michigan artist Sopha Orene Bacon Bennett 1864-1950 of Grand Rapids. Other than needing a thurough cleaning, the oil is in good condition. No cracks or tears or checking. There is one tiny, tiny white scratch in the sky and a couple of dots in the trees that look original to the painting.
The painting is in it's original frame which measures 17.25" x 24.25" and is in rough but restorable condition.
